A DIY Speaker

After watching hours of @kirbymeetsaudio and other speaker builders, I decided to try to make my own. Originally, I wanted to build a pair of towers but decided to make a smaller unit due to room constraints. My design was simple. The idea was a blend of vintage and modern in my DIY Bluetooth speaker.

I got my speaker components from Parts Express. 1/2″ MDF was used for the sides and Purpleheart wood for the face.

Additional Tools

You can use basic hand tools for this DIY speaker project. Obviously, power tools are much more efficient and can be a lot more accurate. With MDF, I highly recommend getting a respirator and safety goggles.
